Ala studied English Literature at Newcastle University. Her hobbies are skiing, art and running.

Ala has been working at the children's camps for five years. She has a wealth of experience working with children, which she accumulated while working as a ski instructor in Kitzbuehl (trained at the Rote Teufel, Kitzbuehl). Ala is a native English speaker, having spoken English at home and been educated in England from the age of 14. She thoroughly enjoys working at the summer camps, and is Chief Camp Organiser. As such, she is in charge of all the staff at the camp and is the go-to person for the staff and children if they have any troubles. She is involved in the day to day running of the camp, and is in charge of administration as well as getting involved in some of the evening activities. Ala also organises the morning run before breakfast, which is open to staff and children.
